A typographic list of case studies where a preview of each project trails the pointer on a spring and leans with its speed.
Where it earns its place
The work page of a studio or agency site: names carry the page, and the picture arrives only when someone shows interest.
What we changed
- Previews are composed launch frames of Aster OS, Northstar Cloud and Vellum Labs drawn in SVG, so the index needs no photography.
- The preview sits up and to the right of the cursor instead of centred on it, so it never covers the name being read.
- Keyboard focus and touch park the preview beside the row, and the same spring glides it between rows; reduced motion jumps it there.
- Kept the original's best idea: skew driven by horizontal pointer speed, now capped at 6 degrees and released when the pointer stops.
